ALANIS MORISSETTE RETURNS

Alanis Morissette has announced that she will release a new album titled 'Havoc And Bright Lights' in August. The singer, who released her most recent studio album 'Flavors Of Entanglement' in 2008, will put out her new album on August 27. The 12-track record is the eighth studio album of her career. Speaking about the album, the Canadian singer said: "This record, as always, is a snapshot of what I currently obsess about, care about, and what strikes me at 4 in the morning in my most introspective moments. It is my emotional, psychological, social and philosophical commentary through song." Morissette will tour in support of her new album in the UK next month. The dates begin at O2 Academy Birmingham on June 25, before moving on Manchester's O2 Apollo on June 26 and finally London's O2 Academy Brixton on June 27. The tracklisting for 'Havoc And Bright Lights' is as follows: 'Guardian' 'Woman Down' 'Til You' 'Celebrity' 'Empathy' 'Lens' 'Spiral' 'Numb' 'Havoc'' 'Win And Win' 'Receive' 'Edge Of Evolution'
